THE 2020 GREATER IPAC SCIENCE SYMPOSIUM August 24 - 27, Online via Zoom Call for Titles The twentieth annual Greater IPAC Science Symposium will be held on August 24th to August 27th, 2020. This year we will have a virtual symposium broadcasted via Zoom. The Symposium is a forum for presenting and discussing their astronomical research in an informal setting. All members of the Pasadena astronomy community are invited to attend. Attendance is not limited to scientists. Format will be ten minute oral talks. The talks are meant to be informal; some levity is encouraged! Wondering who all those post-docs and students are? Who is that person you keep seeing at the virtual All Hands? What do all these people around here actually do, anyway? Here's where you can find out! IPAC members who wish to make a contributed science presentation are asked to submit a talk title no later than July 13th to Roberta Paladini and Phil Appleton (paladini@ipac.caltech.edu and apple@ipac.caltech.edu). Please use the following title submission form: http://giss.ipac.caltech.edu/meetings/2020/form.html Titles may be inventive. If the topic of your presentation is not immediately apparent from the title, we will contact you for further clarification to aid in making the schedule. Abstracts are not necessary. A preliminary schedule will appear on August 3rd, and the final schedule on August 10th. The workshop webpage is available at: http://giss.ipac.caltech.edu/meetings/2020/ For questions, please contact Roberta Paladini (paladini@ipac.caltech.edu) and Phil Appleton (apple@ipac.caltech.edu), GISS Co-chairs.
