GISS 2018
THE 2018 GREATER IPAC SCIENCE SYMPOSIUM

The eighteenth annual Greater IPAC Science Symposium will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, June 20 and 21, 2018. The Science Symposium is a forum for presenting, discussing and learning more about the diverse research that is being carried out across the Greater IPAC. The GISS is open to all interested people from the science community - within IPAC, JPL, Caltech, and beyond - who would like to learn more about the work being done at IPAC.

Format will be 10 minute oral talks. The talks are meant to be informal; some levity is encouraged! Wondering who all those post-docs and students are? Who is that person you keep seeing at the microwave? What do all these people around here actually do, anyway? Here's where you can find out! All projects are being asked to cancel project meetings during the Symposium, and to give consideration of the meeting when assigning deadlines.

An additional highlight will be the "State of IPAC" presentation by Executive Director George Helou. There will be catered goodies.
