The format of the Symposium will be ~15 minute contributed science talks by Greater IPAC staff, postdocs and students (IPAC, SSC, MSC), along with one or two special Invited Talks each day given by an IPAC staff member. The Symposium will be concluded with the "State of IPAC" presentation by Executive Director George Helou, followed by a catered reception in the Dabney Hall Patio. All Greater IPAC staff are welcome and encouraged to attend. For those of you new to IPAC, the Science Symposium is a forum for all staff, postdocs and students of IPAC, the Spitzer Science Center and the Michelson Science Center to present, discuss and learn about the diverse research that is being carried out at the "Greater IPAC." IPAC members who wish to make a contributed science presentation are asked to submit a talk title no later than Thursday, August 25 to Roc Cutri (roc@ipac.caltech.edu). Email submission is preferred. If the topic of your presentation is not immediately apparent from the title, please provide a descriptive sentence for scheduling purposes. Abstracts are not necessary. The atmosphere of the Symposium is intended to be fun and informal, and the location, Dabney Hall, is designed to get us away from our offices and project work.
